Hello room.

Another stupid question. I can\'t seem to be able to post any recent pictures. I have tried using both infranview and LView and neither will work. If i use infranview then i just get half of the image and a then blurred green mess underneath. If i used LView then it just goes black.

Please can someone help?

Thanks

I\'ve not used either software package but it sounds like your graphic\'s card can\'t cope with the amount of memory its being asked to use to display the image.
If you have someone else who can show the pictures on their PC then I would suspect that may be the problem.

Well im running a decent machine (Radeon 9600 with 512mb of DDR and a 2.8ghz processor) so i don\'t think its that.

They look good (well, as good as they can look under 100kb) normally. When i try to post them though they go weird. Ah well, I guess ill just have to get ANOTHER copy of photoshop then.

Thanks anyway

PS. what does everyone else use to edit their photos?

I use something called \"photostudio\", it\'s similar to it, and it came free with the digital camera, so it\'s good enough.

hi,
i use psp7 to edit the original 1600x1200.first i crop the image to just around the mini as a rectangle.then i re size down to 600 or less. never less than 300 pixels wide.this image i then put through the jpeg optimiser to get it under 100k using the least compression.this is saved as jpeg and uploaded.
btw a good tip is to add \"web\" to the filename so u know its the one to upload,or keep your web pics in a seperate file.i do both!!
