Hi guys I have been using MiG productions powdered pigments for a lot of weathering techniques a lately..
I love the effects I can get but was wondering has anyone had any experience of using these pigments and using dullcote??
I was wondering if the spray has any bad effect when applied to the pigments....
Also do they apply ok over the dullcote after it has dried????
cheers in advance guys

I use colored chalk and powder for the same thing and testers DC did nothing to it, it turned out great. Remind you that\'s the spray the brush on will likely make the dust wet and change your effect.

MIG and Dullcote

Hello demonherald
You can spray dullcote over Mig Powders, the only setback is that you lose some of the subtle effects of the pigments. Alway test before you try it on your model. Some of the pigment fade and some will darken up.After you can go back and add more powder over the dullcote after it has dried to get the effects back you wanted.
Talk to you later.....Dragomir

just remember 2 light coats are way better than one heavy one. Don\'t want to blow it off or wash it away in the varnish. One light coat to set the stuff. Much like pastel artists do with fixative.
