Pre Heresy Dark Angel update

I like it Savage. I like the wear and tear on the cloak hood, and I liek the enormous sword (thats a Nemesis Force sword, right?). ANd the use of the cleaned up Chaos bits is very sweet.

thanks... jup the sword i used for is from captain stern. i saw a pic in the horus haresey.. and i there are theas dark looking dark angle´s. they have that clean chaos pads on... i like the artwork of the horus heresy very mutch...

it was the first try...

will finish him soon.

i plan to give him a very dark green, almost black. deept colors.

If he is pre-Heresy then IIRC he should have black armour.
I don\'t know what colour the robes were though the normal bone colour would provide a nice contrast.

Should be the bone white, as they are now.

Pre-Heresy DA had black armour which they changed to dark green to distance themselves from the fallen (and not as a result of a mistake by one of the artists *ahem*).

So I\'d say black armour with brass or gunmetal trim and bone white robes with chaos style borders with the little spiky arrows on. Don\'t forget they didn\'t understand what chaos was back then.
Just like the pics in the Heresy books really

I like the figure, very nice stance, weapon, and robe details, however, I don\'t like the skull on the base. It looks gratuitous and I think it will detract from the finished product.

Now however it\'s: KICKASS lol

The greenstuff really didn\'t look that special but the paint has really brought it out. Nice one

thank´s...

the hood was realy hard to do. becaus i made some mistake´s by modeling the hood. however with color and contrast it works.
my sculping skils are not so high.. but i improve my skills :idea:

so far i am very pleased with the resault.
