Pre Heresy Marines

Sounds like a characterful bunch of converting to be sure. I\'d definitely start working on a test model to get your color palette working the way you want it. As far as converting, those roman looking helms from the covers of the novels themselves are pretty sweet. I\'d embellish the armor itself with some extra plating as you\'re looking to create essentially a bunch of veterans and company champions. There are some interesting torsos on the Black Templar upgrade sprue that might help with the power armor upgrades. For horus himself, you\'ll need to heighten a plastic terminator so he\'s about a head taller than the others. The source material from the art books should help significantly, simply clean it up without the shrunken heads and chaos symbols. Check out the old Adrian Smith drawing for inspiration. Best of luck!

Thanks for the advise it is really appreciate I was thinking the same until I looked at the picture of Horus and thought I would have to build him entirely out of plasticard which would have been hard. I am still thinking that I will have to as the terminator model is to restricted, to small and would be hard to get all the detail on it
