Preferred backgrounds

That\'d be the magic eye evil monkey doctor . I never could get an image out of those thngs, even under the influence of stupifactors... hmmmm
I think you\'ve gotta choose a backdrop depending on the mini, I normally like a neutral grey, but if your mini\'s predominatly grey then its obviously not a good idea.
I\'m not a fan of photoshopped scenic backgrounds atall, I wanna see the mini and anything else is a distraction.
Off subject a little, how many people actually retouch their minis in photoshop or comparable programmes. Adjusting brightness and contrast due to poor photography is one thing, but is it actually possible to doctor the painting in these programmes?

Is it possible - sure if you know what you are doing. There have even been accusations of such practises on the forums before.
The monochromatic painting competition was cancelled because of it.
It would just as sad to do that as it would be to boost your own minis, whats the point? I just don\'t understand the mentality behind it really.

The simple answer to your question is Yes.

There have been a number of suggestions/ allegations made in the past. However the proving of such is very difficult.

I knew it! There\'s always been something a little dodgy about your minis. No way someone could become that good of a painter and break into the top 3,000 in just four months. Don\'t you feel so much better now that you\'ve come clean? lollol
