Preferred light source / lamp type?

Hi all,

I was curious to find out the preferred light source / lamp type for hardcore mini painters?

I was using a pro photography daylight viewing box that I got from work for some time, but while very good it\'s a little restricting. Anyone know the best low heat / neutral light bulb type and swivel lamp? I know a lot of people use two to eliminate shadows and such, but I\'ll probably start off with one in an behind / overhead position and see how I get on.

Even better, if anyone knows where in New York City I can pick one up, I\'d be very grateful!

unfortunately it looks like the american section of the daylight company doesn\'t sell my make any more.

it\'s a twin tube full spectrum daylight lamp.
