SO it just started and Mccain said that he wants to lower taxes. That is the most BS\'d statement I have heard seeing as that $750 billion bill was just passed. He is totally speaking out of his @$$.

Lower taxes would mean the people would have more money to spend, which would in fact increase tax revenue. Raising taxes would have the exact opposite effect. Raised taxes mean a quick boost to the tax revenue, followed by a steep decrease, because less money being spent means companies close peoples jobs, which means less people paying taxes.


Aside from that, I don\'t recall an election with two less qualified people in my entire life.

Can\'t be bothered with them.............they aren\'t DEBATES, they are joint appearances by the candidates doing longwinded campagin speeches which, in the end, don\'t inform and arent worth believing. Oh, and by the way, really get\'s me that they don\'t observe the rules and are allowed to break them at will. The moderator (so called) serves little purpose as referee if they don\'t enforce things.
So I hear, there was a 30 page sort of agreement outlining all the things the candidates would and wouldn\'t agree too. A REAL structured debate with no prequalifiers would be interesting but these circuses are offensive.

That was a farce last night, those people didn\'t write those questions, hell 1/2 of them could barely read them off the cards they were on. They were just hand puppets in last nights play.

This election like its candidates are a big joke on the American people and we have no one to blame but ourselves.
