Primer: brush on or spray ?

I think both are fine but they do each have their pluses and minuses.

Spray-on is more convenient but it\'s difficult to cover the entire miniature without missing bits. Brush-on is cheaper but it\'s more time consuming to use and you need to thin it down so as not to obscure detail.

Both

I find that after I\'ve spray primed there are always some nooks and crannies that need to be given a bit of brush on primer.

Apologies for starting another thread on a recent subject.

I remember using GW brush on, which was hard to get an even coat with. It was also fairly useless on plastic. I liked the finish with GW spray, but it was a nightmare to find a suitably ventilated and tidy area to use it in.

I\'ll probably go with Vallejo brush on primer next time.
