Priming

Iv just primed my Snorri model with greys and added a white lighting source with primer like this:

But one question, now do i just paint the base coat on over the model and it will be applied lighter on the white. Or do i just use the white as a guide?

Actually...I think there is a small bit of the latter...the white paint will naturally cause base coat to be a bit brighter....

But overall the white is the guide for highlighting.
