Painted this man up for the Iron Painter 2 comp (1st round).

The theme was weathered and I thought an ancient undead warrior fit that pretty well.

Nicely done, I consider it an 8.5.

Side note on the armor (someone can pipe in if I\'m wrong) but as you mention the armor is \'corroded bronze\' and bronze patina is brown not green typically. Copper turns green, when it is made into bronze (mixed with tin) or brass (mixed with zinc) the patina becomes a brownish color.

Thanks for the comment.
I probably went overboard on the corrosion but the formulation I got was from HERE
DOn\'t know if it is correct or not, I just think it looks cool! :D

I have just started another mini where I will be using the same basic colour scheme but not going so OTT on the emerald.

Holy cow!

That\'s fantastic! Oh wow it\'s awesome. My favourite of your pieces yet! The atmosphere of the piece is just incredible, and the greens and reds... amazing. Beautiful shield as well. Voted and commented!

Awesome, a 9 from me.

You really oughta give some close-ups, I\'m especially curious about the face.

Keep em coming:D

@funnymouth: Oooh, I\'ve sorta been told (well shown). Nice pic, most of the patina is brown on that statue but it\'s interesting to see the brightness of the green in the crevasses.

@DrEvilmonki: Really like the closeup pics, gave those a 9.
