Problem with Minitaire Raven Black Need Help Plez

Hey this is the first time I've posted on this board but something happened today that has stumped me. I've been airbrushing for around 6 months and I'm not a pro but I have a pretty good grasp of what I'm doing.

anyway on to the problem is that I have a set of the minitaire paints and have used them several times. Today I went to use the raven black because I'm almost out of my VMA black. I used it straight out of the bottle and didn't thin it down at all and it looked like oil or something on the surface of the model after I sprayed it. It's hard to explain the paint kind of grouped together and formed into beads and the spots that I sprayed will not have any signs of the paint at all. All that you see was the primer which was minitaire base grey and maybe a bead or two of raven black. So first I thought It was my airbrush had oil or something on the needle tip so I cleaned the needle and tried a couple of different paints and they worked fine. So I tried the raven black again and the same thing happened. Next I tried to use thinner, matte medium, APJ airbrush thinner mix basically anything I can think of and nothing helps it. So then I thought the problem was from the ball bearings Ive been putting in my paints so I can mix them up easier. I haven't gotten to all my paints yet since it is a messy process and I tend to do it when I use a color. So I tried several minitaire, and VMA that I added the balls to a week or before I put one in the raven black and they were fine. Then I thought maybe something happened to my minitaire base grey so I I tied a couple of other paints on it and the raven black on some scrap model pieces I had laying around but the base grey didn't cause the problem for any other paint and the raven black still beaded off it to parts of the model.

I'm baffled I've never had this happen before and the bottle is almost full of paint. Has anything happened to anyone else before. I'm also pretty sure I may have used the paint once before and didn't have this problem so i don't know what to do. Or does anyone known what caused this or how to fix the problem. Does anyone known if badger will replace the paint bottle because its not like I can go to the store and buy it.

Thanks for the help

Why don't you try getting Ken @ Badger directly? He's a pretty good bloke, with a solid record of replacing his merchandise when it screws up.

I've got a few of the Minitaire paints, but I've never seen the behaviour you're describing.
