Problems With A Hand

Just took delivery of this from the CMON shop:

http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/m...rworks/elmore-masterworks-elven-princess.html

The problem I am having is gluing the hand with the staff to the model.

I have been using a touch of superglue but this doesn't seem to work, it just gives me a very weak join and the hand falls off. I don't want to use too much because it really is only a very small area and I don't want to flood it.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Many thanks.

Pics of the two parts would be helpfull :)

If it is too small or delicate for you to pin then try an two ponit contact (i.e. if the hand and staff have contact points then glue them both not just the hand, if the staff say does not touch the base then build a rock and have it touch the staff, voila! two contact points.)

Thanks for that, reckon that should do it!!

Just one thing, how do I get just a touch of superglue without flooding everywhere?

Thanks again.

Add one drop of your superglue to any surface (not the mini itself) and use any kind of tool to pick up a small amount of glue. This could be easily attached the hand / staff or whatever in a small dose.

A lot of people use a piece of wire or cocktail stick to apply the superglue.
just squirt some super glue onto a container (blister pack) and then put as much as you need on the aplicator (cocktail stick) then apply to the area/part that needs gluing.

u could also trie fixating the hand so the superglue gets the time it needs to dry and support the weight.
I sometimes put the glue on and then use putty to fill the gaps and hold it together till the super glue is dry.
(ofcourse this only works if there are gaps between the 2 things you want to glue.)

Good luck!!
