Anyway sat down and talked and i do need to spend more time with her and less on spending ££££ one mini's. ( is it just me or do we buy even if we don't need a mini). I am going to take my painting straifgt back to basics and start again. I could never give my hobby up as iv been into warhammer since i was 9 (im 24 now)

Maybe get her into painting/wargaming? You do have a couple of "old" armies packed up someplace? Right?

And yes. We do have that tendency to buy more shinies then we need.......

My GF understands I enjoy it and its a very creative outlet. I do spend lots of time with her and don't devoted massive hours a week on painting but I do paint and around her. She has even bought some for me for Christmas. I once asked her what she thought and if I was a total geek and she didn't like me doing it. Her response was "You could have a lot worse hobbies than that, like picking up chicks on the side or smoking crack. When your painting I know your home and I love what you do its something I would never have the patience for." That made me feel better. Remind your wife that there could be worse stuff you spend your free time doing and maybe just talk about what it is she doesn't like about it. And definitely finish a mini and put all your best efforts into it to make it look awesome. Then show it to her and hopefully she will notice the difficulty and patience it takes to make something that looks so great. I hope she gets over this cause if you like the hobby you shouldn't give it up and if she loves you she should except it as something you do. I had my GF pick a mini out that she really liked and I painted it for her and she loved it. Maybe you could do the same? Good luck with all this tho bro cause it is a SH**Y situation.
