Hello,
lately I had some problems with the final varnish of my minis.
I would like to know the reason in order to avoid such accidents in future.
1. the weasel: I definitely messed up here.
I used Vallejo Matte Varnish spray 28.531, Temperature was about 20 deg Celsius and dry weather.
First layer of varnish went really well, I waited 30 min and applied the second layer.
Have I just applied it to thickly (as the cracks may indicate) or was the spraying distance too short/too long ?
When I did not apply it as thickly as I did I saw small specks from the single spray drops after the varnish had dried.
So I don´t really know how to do it properly

2. the cape: after spraying it thinly (as I thought) with GW Purity seal and letting it dry
I found small white grains in the pleats of the cape and on flat areas as well. Tried to remove
it but was not so successful.
Same queston here: just too much spray at one time or wrong distance ?
