I have been wondering what is the best way to produce water? clear resin or that woodlands scenics stuff? is there something maybe that I have missed that is better.

Weall, resin is good for big scenic peices or for a water base like Goatman\'s Elf Princess, but it requires you to make a well or a kind of container and it needs to set for a long time... Personally, I put my money on Woodland scenic\'s water effects, because it\'s a bit thicker and can be shaped into rapids. The other Woodland scenic water stuff needs a few coats and it needs t dry 24 hours in between, so I think it sucks. Reinassance Inks puts out a clear acrylic gel that I found works, it\'s thick enugh it\'ll hold it shape if you put it on a base, but it\'ll also dry clear to geive depth.

well, it\'s called a TAP, and when you turn it, waterappears...the miracle of science..lollollollol

sorry, couldn\'t resist. I use NHP two part epoxy resin for water effects, dries in 5 minutes.
