Hi all,

The idea to inject Hot Glue into a silicone mold grabbed me. Just because, you know, challange, fun and cheap. Used black hot temperature glue. Flashing is certainly an issue and troublesome to get rid of. Better airvents and embedding of master should help. 54mm.

Paint (acrylic straight out of the tube, not so neat I know.) stuck to the glue better than I expected. Well, I´ll just keep at it I guess. :)

So I loaded a low temp glue gun with polycarolactone (Polymorph plastic) and injected that instead. Less flashing and easier to clean. Longer settingtime, but produces a mini made of a much harder plastic than the gluestick, kind of nylonlike material.

Left to right: Primed glue, primed and painted glue, Polymorph primed, Polymorph half painted and one in metal.

Since I´ve not sculpted any guns yet. They resort to fistfights. ;)
