Been a long time since I posted any actual painting here. I'm trying to get back into the swing of it after my deployment. I did some over there, but I was working with limited paints, limited tools, limited space and (of course) limited time. I'll post a few of those I did too, later on.
Attached are the first pics of my current project, my Space Wolves (I know, not another one!). Still need to work on the face, do some trimmings and highlight/shade the red and gray. I'm using Adeptus Battlegray for the base, which I vastly prefer to the old codex gray. It gives me a darker look that took a number of badab washes over codex to get. Better coverage too, being a foundation paint.
Other projects that I'll be working on between churning out Vlka Fenryka will be some yellow Tau (Imperial Fists yellow, not that drab brown yellow that GW slaps on them), some CCC Mercs Minis-also yellow, some Trollblood in their basic colors (have to learn to do plaid... hooray), some minis for my D&D campaign and possibly some Eldar if I can ever decide on a damn color scheme. Along with whatever else strikes my fancy at the moment.
Without further ado:
Lay on the C&C!
