I\'ve been working on a Protectorate of Menoth army for Warmachine. I love the scale of the Privateer Press models and the sculpts are fantastic.

I started painting with one warjack and one unit. I\'m still trying to dial in colors and scheme so any comments and suggestions very welcome.

Anyway, I\'ll post the pics below.

Thanks!

Gotta love Menoth.. Yours put mine to shame though since I tend to blast through my gaming miniatures :D

I like the greys on the \'jack - they make it look sharp somehow. The purply-red and cream tabards are nice too. Very ecclesiastical! :D

I finished another warjack tonight. I think I dialed in the colors a bit. I upped the contrast and added another color into the mix and I think I might be there. I\'ll take pics and start another thread tomorrow or Friday. Tomorrow night in gaming night so I may not be able to get pics done for a day are so. Anyway... I\'m really anxious for suggestions before I start committing paint to models I\'ll be fielding as center pieces.

Very excited about this next one. Again, it\'s speed painted, but I think it turned out well.

@BP: Choir with six made the pics too wide so I just did four. Nice catch, though. =P

lookin\' good bro...
i like what you\'ve done with the choir...

the jack is cool, even though i don\'t really dig the grey thrown in...i kind of throws off the pure scheme(but they\'re your minis, so it\'s your call)...
one thing that i would suggest for the jack, is to paint the loincloth a different color from the very yellow cream it is now...your greys work, but that spot of yellow cream is out of place...

here\'s a few links to some of the menoth i painted for the studio to give ya some alternate ideas...

keep up the good work...i\'m lovin\' the freehand, and can see your skills grow a bit with each mini you\'ve posted the last year...

cheers

Thanks for both the pics and the comments!

@Jah: That battle group looks stunning but I especially like the way the TFG look with that primary red. I don\'t know if you play Warmachine, but I bet that army looks STELLAR on the board.

I got pics up for the next warjack I finished. Curious to see what you all think. It\'s in this thread: Revenger Link

revenger looks good, bro...
i especially like the base...
where is it from???

i don\'t play any games...
i\'m just a junkie for paintin\' cool minis, and figured i should make a livin\' off of what i do when i\'m not in the water...

the reds on feora\'s battlegroup actually don\'t look that red in real life...
it\'s the photos that killed the colour...

the mix is scab red, and dark angels green, or what is now known as sanguine base....highlighted up with bone mixed in...
it was a bitch to custom mix that colour in the days before p3...
i\'m much happier just openin\' a pot of sanguine now...

keep up the good work, bro...

cheers

Awesome job on this army...I\'m sure it is a pleasure to play with! I like all the extra little touches like the writing you can actualy read on the scrolls!

Thanks!

Yah... PoM is a blast to play, in general. Right now I\'m seriously suffering from buying pewter faster than I can paint it but who knows? Maybe someday I\'ll be able to slap down a force that\'s all painted.

What? I can dream, can\'t I?!?

I really like the scrolls. And the paint scheme is mildly different from the normal PoM scheme, which is kinda cool.
