I think I\'ve dialed in the color scheme for these guys. I pushed the contrast down a bit on the shadows and all the way up to white on the highlights. I like the black and white feel more than the grey on the first warjack I posted a couple days ago.

I also introduced a slight touch of orange on the ornamental elements and I\'m really curious what people think about that. I think it helps a ton.

Regardless, I\'m happy for any and all feedback before I start working on some of the models that will be centerpieces for the army.

Good work! I would say dilute your high-lighting colour a litte more and have a little less on your brush when you do it. That will produce alot finer high-lights, although well placed they look a little clunky in places.

Having said that your shading is spot on!Deep shades on white are difficult to achieve convincingly!

I hope that is of help.

Hey, thanks guys! =)

I really like the way the white turned out. I was not very happy with how the first warjack turned out. This is much closer to what I saw in my head.

I\'m not, however, very pleased with the lighting for the pics. I finally stopped being lazy and ordered a little light cube so I don\'t have direct light right on the mini. I\'ve been doing a single lamp above and to the front of the mini and it makes everything too harsh.

I doubt I\'ll bother to repost, but hopefully my pics will be truer to the live model in the future.

The next warjack (a devout) is in the works. And on this one... FLAMES!!! Muhahaha! =)
