Just wondering, is anyone camping out for the PS3 tonight? hehe I want to, but I dont think I can :flame: school
Also, are there any GW games for game systems/are the cpu games any good?

Dawn of War is the Bomb!!! And if you like fantasy, Mark of Chaos is pretty good too. I don\'t think MoC has come out yet but I played the test beta version and it freaking rocked! The graphics are great on it and the concpt of control is pretty user friendly. Both games are Command and Control types.

Ohh and the PS3.... not interested. I have a XBOX360... enough money in video for me!!!

The PS3 baby commercial is kinda creepy and not in the cool way. People are so crazy, why not wait after Christmas and not waste your time waiting around to get one.

I like the idea of PS3 having the Blu-Ray tech built in....makes more sense dropping 600 on a system that can play Blu-Ray AND games as opposed to $900 for a straight Blu-Ray DVD player....

There is no way in hell I will stand in line for one though, let alone camp outside a store.

Yes, Dawn of War is for the PC. It has had 2 expansion packs, and is extremely fun.

The Warhammer Mark of Chaos seems a bit boring to me....I only have the Demo, but some of the levels are just plain snoozefests. If the demo is any indication of how good the game is, I may pass on that.

Blu Ray formatted discs are starting to appear in retail stores now. The real problem is that there are 2 formats that are battling for the High Def DVD market....Blu Ray and HDdvd...each are seperate formats that require their own player. Blu Ray is more expensive, but seems to be a bit higher quality. No one knows which format will become standard, which is confusing the issue now.

oh, icic, im assuming that the GW games are RTS, right? I think I might try and get one....I saw a trailer once and I thought that the graphics were kinda bad =/

We have had idiots here camping out in the rain here for days now waiting on this..the news was out interviewing them last night..almost all intended on taking the ones they by and selling them on eBay for a profit..

I waited on release day for the xbox 360, but turned up in the morning and only waited an hour in the que. I won\'t be buying a PS3, cost to much, and the 360 has all the games i need/want to play. Oblivion IMO is the best 360 game though.

It\'s out in a few hours in the US of A unless I\'m mistaken. The Nintendo Micturate is a day or so later right?

As with the Playstation and PS2 there is absolutely no way I\'ll be buying a PS3 until at least a year or so after release here in the UK. The price is an issue I guess, but it is more that for a long while games for it will be pseudo next generation.

Sony just can\'t seem to make consoles with a decent system architecture you see, so they are always horribly complex to code for and thus early games are relatively unspectacular. PS3 is no exception from all that I\'ve heard, and I think that is reflected in the games I\'ve seen for it. Until the coders can use it easily all you\'ll see is Generic First Person Shooter Volume 206 and that doesn\'t interest me that much.

I\'m happier with developers completely understanding the PCness of 360 already and thus making some far superior games for it. The easy to use developer tools Nintendo always create mean that the Piss should be all good too.

I\'m happy with just my 360 for now anyway and it isn\'t because the machine is super powerful, it\'s because of the ease of online play. I don\'t give a monkeys about the number of pollygons that can be chucked around when I am gunning down Yanks (and potentially other nationalities too of course, but taking down cocky Americans is always more fun!) in Ghost Recon.

btw, anyone know when assassin\'s creed is coming out? I want that wicked badly....Im probably gonna get PS3 by xmastime/early next year, it looks alot cooler than xbox 360 and heard it is a lot better too, 5 of my friends bought 360 when I didnt and 3 of them say it sucks =P

Im quite happy with mine, does everything i need it to do. And yea the online thing on it is really simple to use, i used to love CoD2 online, pure adrenaline rush killing all those nazis!

On the news they were saying the US supply would be gone in a few days (or probably less) and that a basic unit would go for over $2000.00 on ebay.

haha, gone in a few days? 400k models for the entire US, , lol, then again, they only had 90k models in Japan and it took them a day to sell out...or so I heard

btw, I think the lines in US have already started...its 9:10 PM right now, some of the bigger stores are doing a midnight release T_T I wanna be there...atleast I would have resold it
