I've made my first article, but I can't find how I publish it! It's there, listed as "Not Published", what am I missing??

Ok, I've looked in the articles index and can't find it - how do I list it in the terrain section??

It more than likely should have been done when you set it up for approval.
However if you try to edit the article you may have the option to place it in the terrain section.
