I have heard a certain member on here took mushrooms and thought they were the next slayer sword winner- until the next morning!
Although they shall remain nameless for now!
Personally when I have had a drink the last thing I feel like (or am capable of!) doing is picking up a brush!
Any chance of some photo\'s of some sober and some pissed paint jobs from you? would be cool to see the results

I love the green, but I find I get way too distracted while trying to paint while on Cloud 9. The rare occassions where I actually focus on the mini in hand, I find I spend more time per section, and they tend to come out nicely.

Alcohol has it\'s place as a recreational aid. It just doesn\'t mix with some actions which require judgement, concentration and control and while under the influence, I don\'t paint.

One or two beers is fine (it can help getting your hands steady again if you\'ve had too much coffee ), but more than that, NO! Alcohol actually can sharpen your concentration ability and make you more in control, but that effect has it\'s peak at VERY low alcohol levels and pretty immediately afterwards it crashes down catastrophically.

Mushrooms..............what a disaster. Heard wispering voices and KNEW the police were after me. Ended up running for about a mile.

Alcohol in small doses (1-2 beer or a glass of wine etc.) can help getting a steady hand. You calm down and relax a bit more than without, but as soon as you get too much of it: Put the brush away... :drunk:
And as said above: One of the last things I want to do while drunk is painting minis.

now now kiddies drinking is a very serious and important profession that requires serious commitment to doing properly and therefore you should not be distracted from drinking by painting at the same time.
Gluieng sand on bases is perfectly acceptable hobby to partake in while drinking as its the only way i can put up with the mind numbing tedium
