Pulp City Bat-Man

Hey, I painted this for the Little Angels auction on WAMP. I am mostly happy with it, and the pics on the link look WAY better than the photobucket image below. What's with photobucket anyway? Did it always mess with pics?

Anyway, if you look real close on his elbow you can see a little star tatoo. My first freehand! Not much.... I know. Also the little brown oval on the bat is supposed to be the louisville slugger logo. Thanks for havign a peek.

I'm not saying the pics, or the paint is great, but it's the EXACT same image in this thread as it is in the voting link. Clearly photoshop has done something in the resizing or whatever to the color levels, no? It's fine by me as the direct upload to the voting page is working fine and all.

Also I forgot to say it's on a Dragon Forge base. Love 'em!

I paint my thumb.
Good one Scott, simple yet efficient. I like the mask and wood is, well woody.
Skin is nice, but a bit plainish to my taste, I'd have some fun with glazes but that's just me.

TY Guys,

SkelletetS, I had responded but CMON was on the blink that day. No, I don't think you were being sarcastic.

Tim/Freak, yeah, I meant photobucket.

DXM, Nice one!

and yeah, he does have the Caset Jones about him.

I am still pretty happy with the painting on him. I was hoping for a tad higher score, I was hoping for the 7 or just over range. Them's the brakes! I've gotten great feedback with this one though, so look out world!

Scott this picture is the result of capturing your posted image and using Auto Levels in Photoshop.
That brightened the whole thing up.
Hopefully Photobucket won't screw up this version.

Cool, Thanks DR. I had an image levelled off in GIMP, but it was awful. The blue on the mini seemed to do something to the auto leveler, as a Guess. That pic is about bang on. TY Amigo!
