Purity Seals ...

What the heck are purity seals? Got a general idea, but what is so special about them ... so forth and so on?

Thinking of buying some for my Inquisition Witch Hunters from Forge World.

They\'re just honorary marks or something like medals, the more the merrier.. or purier... something
Generally the Ordos have a lot of these.

But, it\'s quite easy to make some with greenstuff.

Well... when you\'re a Space Marine the more pure you are, the more devoted to the cause (and hence the Emporer) you are. So it\'s a big honor to get them from the higher ups.

To make you\'re own, just cut a ribbon of paper, tatter it up a bit, then paint on thined down PVA glue to harden it... then take a teeny blob of GS and mash it up like candle wax over the top edge of the paper ribbon. Paint it up and there you go.

or use the foil from the top of a wine bottle.

Thanks for the heads up on these, think I\'ll give them a try this weekend along with the other bazillion ideas floating around in this noggin.

You nailed it FF... a million ideas and only enough free time to pound out 1/3 of them. It\'s the curse of the mini maker/painter.

itchy - you manage to finish 1/3 of them? you lucky git!! i never finish anything nowadays. i get strated and then think of something else and get started on that. drives me mad. so i have to run around screaming if i finish something
