Putting pictures on the CMON server

Hi all!

First off I’d like to say a big hallo!!! to all, sorry I’ve been away for so long. I\'ve moved in with the girlfriend (well about 5 month ago now (gulp)) and I’ve only just got back on the net/started painting again. I\'ve got some kick ass ogres to post soon, but more about that later.

The reason for this post is to get some advice about moving my pics onto the CMON server. My BT account is going to close down in a couple of months as I’ve moved to wanadoo. The problem is all of my pics are on the BT server.

Ideally I’d like to move the pics to the CMON server and preserve the rank/comments, I have the exact pics, so I’m not trying to pull any kind of fast one! I\'m just worried that when my BT account shuts down I’ll lose all my comments/ranking (and about a year and a half’s work!!!!)

Can anyone help? I\'d be most grateful of any kind of advice.

I PM\'ed Chern about changing URL\'s, etc. a while ago, and this is what he had to say. I\'m not sure if it\'s quite what you\'re looking for, but it should give you a basis, at least.

\"Ok, changing urls, basically upload new pictures, note the corresponding OLD and NEW ID\'s, give me a list and I\'ll update everything. Make sure you don\'t delete the old ID\'s.\"

Hope it helps.

Note: I\'ve never actually tried it- too much of a lazy git- but it should work, although Chern has been quite busy for a while.
