PVA as water effects?

Any advice of how to use Usual PVA glue as water or muddy water maybe?
Its a bit transparent when i dries but can it be mixed with water to become more transparent?
Can it be mixed with colour?

mixing it with water just makes the glue thinner. it won't change the amount of fogginess of the glue. It usually dries in a "satin" finish as well, water usually has a glossy finish(unless something's growing on the surface).

For a mud or some such you could mix it 50/50 with some brown ink, but honestly I'm not so sure how that'll turn out.

I'd say it's not much cop for clear water but muddy it can do, or slime & ooze. Because you're going to get thick edges it's going to look like a thick gloopy liquid rather than water. Unless perhaps you fill a banked area but puddles will look gloopy as the edge stands above the ground. Mix in your ink & apply in two or three ~3mm layers. You'll get a bit of shrinkage but as long as you don't try & go too deep it shouldn't matter. Paint the underlaying area appropriately (very high contrast) then use less & less ink for each thick layer. Gloss varnish. Don't forget to set your beads in early in you're going for bubbles on the surface!
