Nice video, Squidders. My luck I\'d launch myself head first into the wall and then ass first to the ground.

Me and my mates used to go climbing occasionally as I lived ten minutes walk from the Peak District National Park. As far as safety went we had it completely covered. We took an old matress along in case we fell off lol

I would love to give rock climbing a try, but the chances of falling put a real damper on it. Almost every broken bone I\'ve ever had (quite a few, unfortunately) have resulted from either falling off of something or being launched from the back of a horse, which is like falling, but much more entertaining.

I have a friend (a animal lover) who went horse(back, I think it sounds to silly to say horse\"back\" riding, where else would you ride on?)riding, and she got thrown of the horse and almost got trampled to death, now although she loves horses she is dead scared of them:(

Well, there\'s only one way to get over that. You know what they say...

The last one that dumped me on my butt broke my tailbone in the process. Thanks to adrenaline, I got back on without pain. Had to let him know that wouldn\'t work. Of course, I couldn\'t ride again for the next six months without excruciating pain...

I sustained more injuries coming off a mechanical bull than I have rock climbing! theres a big ass blue padded mat at the bottom of the freestyle, you get a harnes and lock when you;re doing other learny things. It\'s cool, and safe, and you should DO IT spazzy! I bet your hubby would love it too!

I posted a two for one shot of OrKyDave and myself flipping Uber the bird but just for good measure here\'s another one of me in my pith helmet. I tend to wear it at tournaments when I\'m using my Praetorian Imperial Guard army It also doubles as a handy dice bucket when it comes to my shooting phase lol

I\'ve broken every type of bone availabel, and some of them twice.
And the only one from a fall was my Shoulder Blade, when I jumped from a tree-house through the garage roof and craked it when I hit a rafter on the way to the hood of the car parked inside.
All the rest were smashed, smacked, bent, or blunt force trauma.
I\'ve been hit by 2 busses, 4 cars, a truck, 2 humvees, and believe it or not an airplane tire!
I\'ve been hit by metal and wooden baseball bats, hockey sticks and pucks, baseballs, 3 pipes, 14 2x4s and the butt stock of a shotgun.
Had my fingers and toes slammed in doors, had my nose broken 8 times (luckily ~ since the 7th and 8th actually straightened it back out..lol)
there is on one rib that hasn\'t been broken and one bone in each of me legs.

And for all that, the only thing that is cool?
I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt when the weather is going to change, because they all start to ache!

YAY!!

The words that immediately sprung to my mind when I saw that picture Meg were, Clean, Wholesome, Pretty. The Archetyepal Girl Next Door.

(Oh I\'m really feeling old now!)

@Jesterz. Remind me not to stand anywhere near you, although keeping you around may make me safe as all the damage seems to get attracted to you.

Dave, that helmet is fantastical, in every possible meaning of the word! I would call that my drinking hat! HUZZAH! I would tell stories of lions and tigers, and the one that got away!

Jesterz, you need a break man, lmao no pun intended! Take it EASY!
