Not at all..
I was thinking of going to the 100 mark. But navigation is getting difficult and I just thought it might be an idea to start a \'chapter 2\'.
As you have invested more in this thread than other though, I will be guided entirely by your wishes...
Now there is a turn around
...but.... to anyone who is newish, Grumb has worked hard in collating the info on this thread and as far as I am concerned...his word goes

Nope! I am not saying I want to end it...
Just that it might be more manageable if it were re-started as PYP 2???.
In a similar vein to the Paint Aid thread.
If folk really want to keep loading 100 pages and trying to wade through them...then fine.

I think my intentions were misunderstood...
Or, far more likely, I did a bad job of explaining myself.
I don\'t want to end the PYP thread. I just thought folks might like it to be in chapters, rather than one huge, great mass.
This thread would remain, but could not be posted to further.
A new PYP thread would be created that linked to this thread and I would certainly like Grumb to post links to his endeavours right from the start. (Although we should not expect Grumb to keep this up as it a fairly thankless task and he may well want to hand over the reins to someone else at some point)
The problem at the moment is, as I see it, no new CMONER is ever going to bother to read through 100 pages, many of which are drivel. Even I can\'t be bothered to search it any more...
People could either post afresh or simply cut-and-paste their old post across. At least this way we would know they were still current visitors to the site.
Basically, I don\'t much care either way, to make the swap would mean more work for me, am more than happy to let sleeping threads lie

It\'s only 49 pages for me. The number of pages depends on your personal forums settings.
Search already does wonky things when using it on this thread; I\'ve tried before and it fails in unusual ways. Like always sticking you on the first page.
On the other hand, there\'s a certain charm to having an intensely long thread that never ever dies.

I have it set to 1 per page so it\'s well over 100 pages already.
Being serious this time, search always does that to me no matter what I\'m searching. Is there a way to jump to the specific hit?
I did, does that make me some sort of freak? ???
But I did it in little bites, 5-10 pages a night.
Now I\'m going through the entire list of threads, a few pages a night. I\'m around January of last year, I think page 87. It makes for intersting reading, if you didn\'t live through it the first time. I especially like the guy who got upset about his scores, and everyone told him his scores are low \'cause his painting sucks! Then he gets pissed off and takes all of his minis off of CMON and is never heard from again. There is like one of those every five pages or so. lol
I have to admit I just \'skim\' the GW rants, they get old fast. And they\'re on almost every page!
So I guess this makes me very inquisitive, extremely nosey, or just plain strange.
...or is it that I have a non-existant social agenda?

I got what you\'re saying Finn. Starting a part two makes sense. I\'ll be happy to do it if you don\'t want to, and I\'ll post a link to the yearbook and to IPM\'s calendars as well.

was there a 2004 yearbook? i wasnt paing attention last year-to busy slavin for the overlords j/k. also i was surprised to see over 60 copies of the 2003 YB sell overnight. (hows that? and I stayed on topic too )
