$350 at Canadian Tire... going on 11 years old now... left out all winter several times... barely maintained...

I think I might have to pack it in for this winter though, since my freewheel kept freezing up on the way to work yesterday. But with no storage locker and a small apt I guess it\'s staying out in the snow again :(

NSA you need to find someone who sells Boeshield T-9 http://www.boeshieldcanada.com/

It will keep that freewheel running fine all winter long.

A good bike shop should carry it.

My ride....

It\'s definitely the gem of my collection. I\'ve got about $1500 bucks invested in that baby. I\'ve got an old, generic roadie and a beaten-up specialized hardrock as well, but I don\'t love them as much, and don\'t have a camera to take their pictures with. :(

My cam is languishing forgotten on a dock somewhere on Gabriola Island. Well, not languishing, as I\'m sure some kind soul was more than happy to give it a new home. :flame:

Umm Nelson, wouldnt that be more of a Stand than a Ride? I dont see a seat.

Course, it could just be a generational thing.lol

Not an actual picture of my car but it\'s same colour and model - Mitsubishi Shogun Sport.

OMG Becca - They\'ve put your steering wheel on the wrong side of the car  lol

Well this thread turned out much better than I had hoped, it\'s getting quite fun.

DFD mentioned gas in a newer truck, here\'s what I\'m getting (somebody who feels like using their brain can convert to MPG but I was plowing until 2am last night and up again at 6am this morning for another 6 hours of it)...

First tank I got 462.2km and used 119.1 liters (costing $109.46, mostly city driving).

Second tank I got 292.4km and used 121.6 liters of gas (costing $111.73, tank was 50/50 plowing and city.

That\'s it. Only two tanks of gas into it so far. I\'m sure though that every time I pull up to the gas station the attendants get excited for the big sale coming.

I\'m of the generation that can\'t really think clearly in metric or emperial. KM/L is meaningless to me and I can\'t convert to MPG without giving myself a headache.

I\'ve got a dark blue, \'96 Ford Explorer, paid off in full.
Runs like a champ. Even after ten years of hurricane seasons, towing sandbags, and driving through one to two feet of water.
I\'m looking at getting an old El Camino or a Dodge Charger and fixing it up.
