Well haven't posted anything in ages as was batch painting vast amounts of toss models whilst working for GW which had a massively detrimental effect on my painting standard. Now im a man of leisure I figured it was time to try and up my standards and get some stuff posted again. This way I get good feedback and a reason to try to paint better so here goes.

still need to touch up some chips where I dropped the nose heavy git and am tempted to add some snow and kill the shine on the armour and the leaves.

You well painted it. I really like the skeleton. I don't really like the way you painted the skin and the face and I also think you could work a little bit more with the metals. I like your base and I don't think you need to add snow.

i like him, the reds are nice. not keen on that vine/plant thing on the base though, looks like a twisted piece of wire with some oak leaves stuck on...otherwise, very good

This one looks great! I would rather go for some foiliage or flock rather than snow. Some green element to complement the red will make Queek stand out even more.

I agree snow would not be a good idea as the foliage on the base is still alive and the leaves are the colour of autumn.

Great looking mini otherwise - good depth to the armour.

To be honest I had gone away from the snow idea as lots of people in my local gaming group have gone down that road. Though I feel I could do with giving the grass a lil more wear to represent the time of year. Im gonna tidy this up tomorrow by dulling the shine of the armor and weathering the plants on the base more before starting on deathmaster snikh which i'll post here as well. I felt in hindsight I could have done better on the tree stem but this was a first attempt at this technique as well as the way I painted the red. Overall i'm happy with how the model turned out considering the amount of time I took away from proper painting (two years) and a number of firsts on the model.

I wouldn't dull the shine on the armour, at the moment it reminds me of laquered samurai armour and that's cool. Nice bit of painting but the mini itself is far too busy for my tastes.

Looks great to me as is, I wouldn't change much at all, I might try to add some more depth into the metals of the weapons but that is all, the GW washes are brilliant for this I have found.

Nice job, I just would have reworked the metals a little bit more and added some scratches, I also think some snow on the basecould be great.
