Question about 4th CMON Contest miniature

Hey guys,
I just bout the 100th model for the new painting contest. I am looking at the pictures of what is in her right hand, and I am clueless. She has a knife in one hand, and something in the other. Id really like to know what it is. Thanks,

I think I read in another forum that it\'s supposed to be a \"mantis symbol\", being that she\'s called \"Mantis assassin\" maybe it\'s something she leaves with her victim\'s remains, or brands them with it, or whatever you imagine.

She looks really good, maybe I\'ll acutally enter this contest, despite being out of practice and having only crappily cheap painting supplies...
