Question about Jeff Valent Studios...

Hello all.
OK I have never ordered before from Jeff Valent Studios. Well I have wanted to try out the Procreate clay and also pick up some of thier sculpting dummies. So I ordered and paid through paypal. That was two weeks, three days ago. With no replies, packages, whatever...???
So is this normal for them, anyone else have trouble? I tried after a week and four days to email via thier submit question, suggestion section with no replies. Then an email a day ago. (I am being polite in the emails, I\'m just asking what the status of the order is and the order number. That\'s all.)
Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

I\'ve no experience with Jeff Valent, but it is a name that has been around for quite some time in the industry...I hope it works out for you.

BUT....to slightly steer this topic off, not responding to E-mails, and ignoring customers seems all too prominent in this field....and it is inexcusable.

What I do if I have never ordered from a particular company is send them an e-mail asking a question about a product. If I get a response in a reasonable amount of time, I feel more comfortable ordering from them. To be honest there are quite a few companies that don\'t respond...obviously they don\'t want my money, and that\'s fine, I\'ll spend it elsewhere.

If they have an e-mail address, they really should find time to respond to it...NO EXCUSES!

Well from what I read on other forums your in the back of the line as there are people waiting 6 months for orders from him and nothing yet.

My advice start procedings to get your money back from PayPal. It may take a few weeks.

I ordered a pot of Freaky Flex red paint and some brown stuff from him a couple years ago. It took at least two weeks to get the package, and he wasn\'t particularly responsive to emails.

Hadn\'t ordered from him again since. :|

I keep reading recommendations to use him for casting figures, but if he can\'t be bothered to do well with merely shipping product...

Thanks everyone. Yes the way I feel it\'s not very good customer service if you don\'t reply to customer\'s emails at least in some reasonable time. It\'s a pity I also have heard they are a place to go to for casting. Thanks Dragon Forge, I will look into ordering from Fortress Figures. And if I don\'t get a reply by tomorrow I am asking for a refund through Paypal.
Off Topic - I recieved the new lizardmen from Dragonblood Miniatures through Fantization. Really looking forward to painting these, especially since the source material is one of my favorite illustrations out of the monster manuals.
