Question about previous expansions

I just got my copy of Season 3 and it got me thinking about the Toxic Mall expansion. In what I can find, it says that the TM expansion requires either the base game or Prison Outbreak, but I wasn't sure how that would work with the maps and scenarios. Do the missions contained within only use the gameboard tiles located in TM and it just requires that you have the other game for zombie and equipment decks?

Would I be able to pick up Toxic Mall and expect it to work with my copy of Season 3?

You would have to make your own maps to use TCM with Season 3. All the missions in the TCM rule book either require Season 1 map tiles or Prison Outbreak map tiles.

So there's a mix of missions that require either S1 or S2 in that box. Gotcha.

Correct, in TCM half the missions use S1 and the other half uses S2. Give or take a few missions.

It is compatible, but there are no missions yet that can be used with both... Maybe there will apear some on the website too...
