You know how they have clans for video games? Are there ones for painters? I think it would be cool to have \"guild\"/team to work with.

I agree with Markus (really!!). I\'ve heard of them and never quite got the point. I play Battlefield Vietnam and they are always asking people to join a clan. I just log in and play. Nuff said.

Well I guess you learn something new everyday. I don\'t really waste my times playing video games any more. I have better things to waste my time. Like CMON. :D

Luckily BF Vietnam is at a friends house and I only play it once or twice a month. If I had that online at home I\'d never leave the house.

There\'s already a couple of these, though they don\'t all title themselves.
Chain painters.
Chain sculptors.
These could be considered a CMON guild.

If you mean people in the same geographic region, the only steady group I\'m aware of are all living in the same house, and share blood relations. :)

Mmh, don\'t think this would make a lot of sense since we\'re scattered all over the world. Don\'t clans like...meet in real life? (what am I saying, these people obviously have no RL otherwise they wouldn\'t be in a clan, right?)

we have lots of clans/guilds. And as an added bonus, you can freely join any of them:

Brush lickers
coffindodgers
Girls of CMON (this one has certain qualifications)
GW haters
GW lovers
Reapernauts
Reaper-nots
Facial hair growers

And many more.

Well, I play WOW (World od Warcraft for you non-gamers) and they are called guilds, not clans.

They are actually really vital if you are really into the game. It allows you to play with the same bunch of people all the time. Most of these game have adventures that require 15-40 people, and you certainly don\'t want to play with random people so 1) they keep getting you killed because they don\'t know what they are doing and 2) They steal the uber items right under you when the Boss is dead.

Some of these games require fairly complex coordination, and hence, if you want to play high level content, you have to be in a successful guild.

On CMON, not sure what that would do besides mark you as a Black Primer cult, White Primer cult, NMM clan or Metallic clan, just to identify your preference :)

Well I am of the White primer clan and the Metallic clan.

Wow! So am I! So if being a moderator would make borg a \"Boss\" what do we win by slaying him??

:p

I would just like to say that I\'m a very, very, very, very minor boss, and only drop bad puns...:innocent:
As opposed to \"Good puns\"?? (Is there such a thing?) :innocent:

Following those lists:-
I\'m a Brush-licking, Coffin-dodging, GW Loving/Hating, Reapernaut, Facial hairgrowing, White or Black priming and Metallic or NMM Fanboy.

Don\'t you hate being put into a \"category\". ;)

My son is in a Warcraft III clan, and he thinks it is great. Personally, I don\'t see the point. ???

Did you know, that the warcraft III pro gamers earn a lot of money playing the game 8 hours a day? Its insane... 14 year old guy had 3 sponsors, Intel pentium and other 2 BIG names... Sponsors can pay them trips to korea to train etc.

I dont know how clans/guilds would work in miniature scene. But, some art studios can be counted as clans, right? Those seem to work pretty nice.
