Question on Badger 1000 airbrush compressor

Hi all,

I'm looking at replacing my compressor, and there seems to be a good deal on e-Bay for the Badger 1000 compressor - it's only 80 quid, and for some reason, the shipping is only another 2.50 GBP (!). I'd just like to ask if anyone has any experience with this specific compressor? Will it take a standard 1/4" plug?

Looks identical to the one I've got. I've heard mixed opinions of them with some people saying theirs had packed up within a week or so. However mine's over 3 years old and still going strong.
