Question that in no way effects the game

If you list them all out and group them by number/letter, they appear to imply that there are a whole bunch of boards that already exist, but which are yet to be seen.

I suspect we'll see some of them in the first expansion.

(and hopefully more in later expansions)

I actually noticed something last night: it seems like the number indicates the layout of the tile. all the 5 tiles have three roads, and two rooms, with one of of the rooms on the edge. 1's have an L shaped street with 2 small internal rooms and one large, and 2's have a L shaped street with 4 rooms inside. 4's similarly have one street and 3 large rooms. The street artwork appears to all be the same, and the rooms art is slightly different.

I'd started to catch on to that aspect of the numbering... the letters however always match on one side of the tile to the other. (ie if it's Dx on one side then the other side of the tile will be Dy) I think that's to make it so you don't need to turn over EVERY tile looking for the one needed for a scenario.

Are you sure about that? most of them seem that way, true, but I think there's at least one that has different letters on each side

Just went and checked, and apparently one of the tiles is 7B/5F. Oops. So the pattern works most of the time, but not all the time. (this is made weirder by the fact that since there is no other tile lettered F that they could easily have made it 7F/5F, but oh well...)

On the other hand, that tile has the only F and the only room surrounded by road on all side, so it's unique in that way as well making it easy enough to remember and identify.

I found the same Lunar.. it seems that it does help knowing the 2 exceptions ( special tiles) that the remaining tiles won't have to flipped if the alphanumeric isn't what your looking for. At least it's worked for me :)
