WIP stands for Work In Progress. It is a miniature that has been started but not finished. People generally post WIPs to show others what they have been working on and/or to get feedback so they can change anything on the mini before continuing on the mini. If you would like any more examples I have a desk full of these that I could show you lol.

WIP =Work In Progress the key symptom of someone, predominantly male, suffering from Pigmentia(tm) a common psychological condition typified by and allied to \"Magpie Syndrome\", often refered to as \"Oh look a bright new shiney.........\"
and Attention Span Deficit, \"I must paint this dark elf a rich Pur.........Oh look a Butterfly, ....I need a cup of tea, .........where\'d I put my M&M\'s\".

Sadly this condition has no known cure, sufferers either live with it, or if afflicted pre-teenage often spontaniously enters a remissive state. (Often associated with teenage Female influence/associations).
However long term sufferers have a benefit in that they will live forever as a painter cannot die until his(or her) last mini is painted.

6 months? Yeah... me too :( Since I moved (in with my GF) I\'ve lost my ability to leave painting stuff all over the dinner table, and the light there isn\'t as good. I really need to figure this out. I just seem to... not paint these days :p But at least I\'ve been able to curb my mini purchases in the meantime :)

With me it\'s more \"must get this pain.....Mom can you give me a ride to the mall?\" or \"Let\'s prep this.....ooo, a new Sims2 expansion pack! Let\'s see if.....might as well check the boards\" End result is the same.

Let\'s not forget the wonderful effect that these forums have on not finishing a project.

\"I need motivation, I\'m gonna check out CMON.\"

(Two hours later)

\"Hmm, dinner?\"

You forgot to add: \"after dinner, go back to CMON (rather than dip a brush)\" lol

Thanks, DR. I could have saved a fortune on a shrink. All I needed to know was that I had magpi.....

Ooooh, look at that. I\'ll be right back.

Should have talked to my late mother, she could shrink anything in the wash. Bless her.
Nah you want something shrunk just put it into the laundry on a sleek grey messenger of death, they are garunteed to shrink it whether you want it shrunk or not.
