It\'ll still be a tough chew. I recommend having it with lots of gravy, some
potatoes, and maybe a nice salad to start.

The answer is yes you can bake it, it might smell a bit but then again so does most oven baking clays. Keep in mind most corks are made from ground up cork reglued back together in a cork shape so it might fall apart at a later date.
