I concur with zab, it's almost like you can actually read that sculpt's emotions. The sadness of being sculpted to almost near-perfection can be seen in the introvert and proud disappointment in the curved frown on his brow, the slight wrinkle in his nose and the most subtle of pouts on his lips. If I was a sculpt that came so near perfection and still was being considered to be so far from-, that's how I'd look.

Thanks Zab! ;) (you had me confused there awhile!)
Meph: Wow thanks, and what an analysis! I owe my little "stunty" a hug or two obviously! Don't tell me, you work as a therapist I'm sure!
Im not gonna be shy about it, I'm really pleased with how he came out and thats why i wanted to "show him off" even though he won't be a part of this current project! Im gonna try to take him all the way (even though, he's ultimately a "reject"). I haven't worked in Super Sculpey before so the next part will be new country for me and trickier, smoothing with those rubber thingies and some kind of alcohol i believe? gotta buy all that stuff now, and casting material! Then ill use him as a practice mold cast before the other one!

lol, feels like that sometimes. As a Business Analyst/IT Consultant I have to communicate a lot with odd people all over the globe. :)

Also... a big \m/ °_° \m/ to Göteborg, home to some of the finest Deathmetal bands out there. It's on my must-have-visited-at-least-once-in-my-life list. :D

Skelettet: Thanks! =) Ja, obegripligt!
Meph: Death metal, yeah i was young in the nineties! Listened to the local bands, At the Gates, Dissection, Dark Tranquility and so on.
Sadly i've grown boring, cut my hair mellowed my music taste and all that... Grown up, started to play with toy soldiers and so forth. ;)

Alright, time for a small update. I haven't gotten much painting done in a long while. My thesis is killing me atm. Still, ive done a little. Ive started to paint patterns on the leather parts which i like, im trying to paint them such that they fool the eye a little. But am not completely sure that they won't make the mini to hard to read.

I've also killed some darlings, it's good to kill your darlings. Makes you not afraid to try new things. You can't paint something so good that you can't repeat the feat. Pow pow eye, you gone.

pow pow left leg, you gone.

I paint as i go along atm (and when i have time), really don't have a plan beyond the things going on atm.

the red rats below him is an experiment, they might very well be gone next time, they came out rather overpowering. Removed the red eye and replaced it with red rats... perhaps there is a bit to much cold color on him....

Hopefully il have some sculpting to show next time as well, cheers.
