I\'d be interested in trying them. Is there anymore information like how much and what size?
From what I\'ve been told, it should be 20ml bottles (without eye-droppers, but I\'m less sure about that).

I remember a small gaming company that started to make its own minis then publish a mag then produced its own paint. look out GW you have a new competitor. Still if the paints are the same quality as the minis they should be good.

wow, thats interesting!

will be curious to see a review of these; all the studio shots of rackham painters in old catalogues etc show Vallejo style dropper bottle - I assume they used the Prince August packaged vallejo and that any product they released would be in something similar!

I bet there won\'t be any metallic colours.... :]

BTW, they will release a start-up set containing 9 bottles of paint, an instruction folder and a miniature. The miniature will be the Daïkinee elf Kaeliss, which was included in the soon to be discontinued Wolfen clan box set.

Paint is the most profitable item a miniature company can make.. if you only knew what a 5 gallon bucket of this stuff really costs, and if you break that down into 20ml little bottles @ $3.00 each.. its a huge money maker. Especially now days If a company has a nice webstore, adding its own paint range is a no brainer in my opinion. Good customers are brand loyal.

id take that bet.. even though they are big with NMM, they have to know that many painters still prefer metallics. It would be foolish not to offer them.

I\'d take that bet too. I can see at least one metallic on that colour chart to start with

I\'d be interested in these too

Most paints ranges seem to have there own pros and cons, (eg GW metallics are good, but some of their colour paints don\'t cover very well, Vallejo paint covers well, but their metallics aren\'t great as the flakes tend to be a bit large) I\'m sure there will be some particular things that these paints will do better than others

Nice colour chart! Even with my half-remembered schoolboy French some of the names seem slightly familiar.

I bet we could have real fun translating these into English in creative ways :D

I wouldnt be surprised if this kinda thing was the way forward for Rackham, hell if they sell minis, paints, and maybe someday other equiptment for moddelling, it will be a one stop shop for people, clever idea i think.

also i\'d assume there will be metallic paints in the range, but they\'ll keep using nmm themselves

Well what do you know I\'ve just convinced myself to go to Vallejos and ordered some and then Rackham go and release paints, I may give them a try but the difficulty will be getting them over here unless they will be stocked by Game Mart or Gamers Quest.

I think Vallejo will still have the upper hand for a while. The dropper bottles, bigger selection of colours and the availability makes them my first choice.
