Rackham\'s tiny legged girls

I personaly have never seen any of the figures you\'re talking about, but I just figured that I\'d throw in a comment about the Sisters of Sigmar (for Mordheim) made by Games Workshop. A few of them look cool, but for the most part it\'s very anoying that they really aren\'t costomizeable like the rest of thier figures. Most of them just come in one piece. And then there\'s the auger. The model (again, this one is one piece) comes with two \"daggers\". The Sisters of Sigmar can\'t use swords, but the \"daggers\" she\'s holding are the length of her arms... And there is no reason why she should be equiped with two \"daggers\" instead of some of the better weapons they can use. Anyway, that may be lost on people, but if any of you play Mordheim then I\'m sure you\'ll know what I mean.

The new Drune girls have crossed the line from simply being a bit too thin to downright sick and disgusting, like they came right out of a concentration camp. They\'re certainly not a pleasure to look at or even paint, at least for me. *shudder*

LOL!! My legs aren\'t quite the weird shape of those figures, but unfortunately i am rackham figure shaped.

I seriously hope i don\'t have they facial structure they have though!

You have to give me links because I don\'t keep up with the Rackham releases. I don\'t know what Ysis is or the Drune, but I have seen some ugly barbarian looking females here that look like they\'ve been fasting in the desert and wonder if that\'s not what you are talking about.

I quite like the Rackham sculpts, to be honest. OK, the Fiannas ... could do with a cheeseburger or three, but [old] Sasia, Azael, and the new Elemental of Light, now, they\'re the business.

Especially Sasia. She just *oozes* malevolence.

Here and here you can take a look at the Drunes. Cheeba shot photos from every angle so that each and every flaw on the miniatures can be seen. Again, no healthy woman or man looks like this, even if they are starving they still don\'t have such proportions. Whenever I look at them I\'m appalled, they are pretty much the absolute worst sculpts I\'ve ever come across.

Gypsy, I really think you are missing the point here...

Drunes are supposed to be evil, they have been warped my magic and their unholy alliance with the sea demons, the Fomorians.
They are not supposed to look bloody healthy!
To criticise them for being thin and unhealthy is as off-kiltre as to say an undead army need fattening up a bit, or that a Nurgle army would benefit from a de-tox and some pimple cream:flip:

I\'ve often thought all Nurgle needed was a wet-nap and good scrubbing.

My God man! I hated Rackham before, but back-story or no, those are some of the ugliest sculpts I have ever seen.

Got to admit the Rackham Drune \"Anti-Fiannas\" are Fugly.
I find absolutely nothing, to make me want to paint them.

I will say that I was disappointed in the \"anti-fiannas.\" Those figs along w/ a few other rackham disappointments (all interestingly enough, figs that didn\'t have pictures on the cards, but only artwork) have forced me to hold off on buying any rackham figs until I see a paintjob from one of their in-house painters.

honestly I wanted some. I play evil armies riddle with madness so the drune would work. the main problem is I have too dang many commisions to paint so all my minis are getting a bit attention sick.
