Am I correct?

Greg

All the RACKHAM products is and will be available via FFG for all English speaking country, new releases products for AT-43, Confrontation the Age of the Rag\'Narok and the existing metal range.

Regarding the metal miniatures: we have some stocks, we have the moulds, we can continue casting our range, we can create our masters and our metal moulds if needed. So metal minis will remain available without C3 stats cards, but remain available. What I told previously it\'s simply that we will no more produce huge production quantity as before.

If some metal miniatures aren\'t available, it\'s simply because we need to do a new casting mould or it was a limited edition.

Thank you,

Jean.

What\'s wrong with ridiculous weapons? Or improbable female physiques, if your tastes run that way! :p

I\'m hoping this means there\'ll be more metal Daikinee releases in the future. They\'re a force that could do with a bit more lovin\'!

Have to say I would probably never have invested so heavily in mini painting if it wasn\'t for Rackham- as it, I\'m a fair way to owning all their Wolfen, Cynwall and Daikinee ranges. However, I lack the energy to start off the bickering that\'s been going on since they made their controversial decision.

Does that mean they are going to be releasing new figures or just the current range?

I thought I\'d read somewhere that all new confrontation minis were going to be crappy pre-painted plastic.

I agree, it would be a great shame for Rackham to stop releasing new metal stuff.

from what they are saying there will be no new releases in metal.

the current metal line will be available still, they will make new moulds as and when needed.
i would expect the prices on them to go up tho as they will have to do it externaly which will push up prices.

Ok if anyone reading this actully belive what Bey says you are more gullable then a 3 year old. Rackham has made habbits of claiming things and never backing them up. He has given no timetable as to when we might see the re-release of the metals. Also the distributorship of R products goes through fantasy flight games and they are problematic at best. Who then will release the metals?

The only thing I trust in Bey\'s statement is that they won\'t produce NEW metal miniatures (which he didn\'t actually say, but the message is pretty clear...)! That seems pretty obvious... but whether the old metal minis will be available or not remains to be seen.

Ridiculous weapons and improbable female anatomy? Isn\'t that pretty much the norm for fantasy miniatures? :]

everything is still available on the webstore...while i don\'t see them remakin\' moulds once they die, it\'s good to know that i can still get the current minis...
fire industries is startin\' to produce unpainted resin versions of the at-43 minis, which is cool if ya just want something to paint...much better than tryin\' to repaint the plastics...

cheers

Yes thankfully. :D lol
And the Fianna\'s are within normal human boundaries as I work with a Young woman who has that physique.
I\'m also glad to say that she doesn\'t weild a huge sword at work though, but who knows what she does in her free time. :D

As for Rackham continuing to maintain the metal range that\'s good news, but not as good as if they\'d opted to drop the pre-painted and continue with metal only.

Now you\'re just teasing. :(

Why exactly is it good news that Rackham will still be producing metal minis? No new stuff, just old stuff that we already bought when all those Rackham sales were to be had. It\'s not like we\'re going to be buying more and more of the same, now is it? At best, it\'s some kind of moral victory for the mini connoisseurs.

The way I see it, it\'s always a good thing that good looking minis are available. Personally, I don\'t have every single cool Rackham mini, and even though I\'ve bought some cheaply now when they are on sale, there\'s still stuff I might want to pick up. Having that option is better than not having it. Either way, though, I will survive... :)

Easy...I own some of them too.

But let\'s hear (or see...pics?) more about this coworker. Does she dress like the fiannas?

Incidentally do her feet snap off at the ankles when the wind blows?

This isn\'t exactly correct.

I have spoken to Jean Bey personally. He reiterated what he has already said. R will produce iconic characters in metal, so there will be the odd metal mini for us painters to paint.

Of course until they are seen, I don\'t think it\'s a 100% gaurentee.

It seems that a lot of people overlooked the fack that Jean Bey himself said that the majority of the minis will be in plastic, ie: Command boxes and run of the mill troop types. There will be more metal ones, but that will be after the Age of Ragnaroc models and publications come out.

It is kind of the basis of focusing on one objective at a time.

Most of the future metals will be character based and limited editions, prepainted or metal options.

They do understand the anger that all of us that like the way things were, but also introduced the plastic prepaints to attract a new crowd into the gaming circle, business is business after all.

Just complain on the forums and they may share more info, since they do watch them closely.
