I think it\'s definitely a good idea and something that can work well. Only problem I see with it is that you don\'t have any examples of your work in your gallery, therefore people won\'t know what they would be hoping to win. This may deter some from actually purchasing a ticket.

Raffles are normally used to raise money for charities and such, which one are you supporting?
It is also worth noting that in some countries raffles are considered a form of gambling, and as such require permits. In Canada a raffle with no permit can get you a $10,000 fine, but I have no idea what country you are in. If you are supporting a charity or other non profit orginization, they can help you get the permit, but as they are only allowed so many in a year, they may be reluctant if they feel you will not raise enough. But then again the rules may be different where you are.
Best of luck
Chris

I think raffles for charity are fine and usually work, but as others have posted could be considered gambling and illegal depending on where you live. I think they work great at conventions and church socials where everyone involved can see the names drawn..done on line can lead to nothing but a disaster.

If your work is good either set a price you want for it and sell it or place it on ebay.

To be honest with you this is a bad idea.
Firstly you do not have any examples of your completed work available to show people your level of ability so they are basically being invited to buy a \"Pig in a Poke\".
You do not have a very large \"internet reputation \" so that will also put people off.
Secondly there is a strong legal issue to consider as has been mentioned by other posters.
UK legislation requires that raffle organisers be 18 years of age or older, I can\'t see any other countries legislation being much different for the legal responsibilities of holding a raffle.

Lastly how do you expect people to buy the tickets, via paypal? If so what happens to the money? is it your intention to keep the money or are you donating it to charity and at what percentage?

A lot of your posts have come across as \"Earnest Teenager\" and again being honest that doesn\'t tend to inspire people with confidence on an issue like this.
