Heres a wraith I painted with a flaming sword. I\'m tryng hard to work on my technique with the lighting effects caused by a light source such as the flaming sword. Any comments will be extreamly helpfull. I think I may have overdone the effect on this one.

not bad. could do with more contrast on the sword though. light in the recesses and darker towards the \'peaks\' of the fire

Try to mix in the OSL colours more in the background colours. and don\'t make such sharp transitions. The pink doesn\'t work so well against the flame as well, try choosing a cooler color that will complement the warmth of the OSL. Otherwise not bad, but you could work on overall neatness and probably work with thinner paints as well.

I\'m working on my next piece which is a necromancer with some glowing orbs. With it I am using alot more thinned paints and coats of different color and especially glazes to show the Reflection color of the light source, instead of just a straight dry brush technique. The orbs will give off a green light and I\'m finding it easy to mix in a dark green into a wash around the orb after painting the surrounding area then re highlighting with the original color and then a very thin light green glaze around the orb. Should have pictures of it this weekend.
