Ranger and Cleric for sale

So since I do not have an EBAY account, I am posting two minis for sale here The first is a classic Grenadier cleric, perfect for any sort of armored fantasy priest RPG character. Painted all in metallics, he features an expressive face and freehand design on his deep wine colored cloak. He looks like this:

and he is selling for $20 US not including shipping (approx. $5 for air and insurance).

Also for sale is a snappy Ral Partha Ranger that is also perfect for an adventuring archer ranger type RPG character. The pants are a strong point here, as well as the beautifully shaded forest green cloak. He looks like this:

and he is sellign for $30 US not including shipping (see above).

Both are well painted and the Ranger is sporting some NMM gold freehand trimming!

Nice minis! You should really try ebay the next time you want to sell a mini, I am sure they will sell for more on ebay than the amount you ask for them now.

OT question: which color/paint did you use on the cloak of the first mini?

Well, since I have no credit card.... this is my alternative

The wine colored cloak was done on the cleric by mixing some dark brown in with Blood Red and then simply highlighting by addign white. Makes for a nice deep color, without looking too pink.

I was asking that question because I had a discussion with a painter from a store I visited today that no manufacturer really has this warm deep red (almost purple, a bit like red wine) paint color...

Hmmm

You could try basing with say Scab Red, mixing in some dark brown shadows, and highlighting straight up maybe

I am sure Vallejo will have some color. I really like using my old Citadel brown (nearly black) ink for mixing shades... It works really nicely with reds and greens.

Yeah, recently I also experienced with mixing brown with red to shade, and it works great.

Hey, this is going really OT. Please don\'t forget what this thread is about: BUY ZAPHOD\'s MINIS!! They are very well painted and quite cheap for that quality IMO

And they contain a wonderful red/purple color
