Ranking Question

How often does the ranking reset. I don\'t remember the last time mine moved???

My understanding is that your ranking is based on you highest 3 minis (with over 50 votes each).

I believe it updates every night, though not sure of the exact time.

Mine has fluctuated a lot this week - I started at 563, 564, 565, 573, now back to 563.

it\'s based on your top 5 minis with greater than 50 votes and to the best of my knowledge is calculated every night.

Yep It refreshes about 09:00 Greenwich Mean Time. (Just for we residents of the \"OLD\" country. )

I think it refreshes around midnight for me...Why doesn\'t it refresh more often? Is it because of the tax on the system, or is it just the logistics and annoyance of constantly changing scores and rankings?

The refresh actually does affect the performance of the site. Chern\'s probably got a serious piece of SQL programming going on in the background, which kicks in on a 24 schedule at what is expected to be the quietest time.
But Hey at 09:00 I should be working, not cruising the site. :innocent::innocent::innocent:

Well, your 0900 is my 0 dark thirty (0400) and I am NOT doing anything at that time, but it is Chern\'s 1600 or so? Yes, we are a global community here. If our countries could just get along as well as we do...:innocent:

Well most religion prone peace, people just intepret it differently. That\'s the way I see it anyway
