Rating your own mini for sale...

OK so here is my question.

Why do so many mini\'s that are up for sale have REALLY high scores that are not reflected on the actual mini itself? Does this mean people are self rating to jack up the score? Does it also mean that the \"new auctions today\" does not read the rating each time but instead only reads the item the first time?

Just asking.

self ratings

that sounds like it could be them rating themselves. or like you said, it could be cuz it\'s really early and only has a few votes. but i would just go with \"if you like it, then buy it\" and ignore the rating.

You answered your own question. If there are less than 50 votes, ignore the rating. So auctions ending today is probably more useful.

I do rate my figs very highly when I post them(if it\'s for an auction or not), but that\'s just so that peole will actually see them. I\'ve noticed that a lot of people only browse for the 8 or up scores...
