Hi Y\'all!

No, it\'s not the title of next summer\'s hit movie :duh: but of course my latest submission, that all the cmoners interested in my progress must be awaiting impatiently ;)


Well, the latest thing I had to learn to pull that one through is Speed Painting cause that\'s sixteen fully detailed ratmen with guns I had here and I didn\'t want to stay sticked to this project forever.
I\'m also very glad I bought the Vallejo game kit which really made the painting time more agreable in the last few weeks.
Anyway, enough talking now, here they are.

With this done, I can concentrate on my next project, some witch king dude riding a dragon ( My first dragon:D )

just saw these, and i posted a comment. they look good for a big comission (i really like the rusted metal, how did you do it?). the dragon should be fun...but when are you going to paint something for yourself ???

sixteen........Is that 8 guns 16 rats or 16 guns 32 rats...
either way damn them and there ability to completely destroy my knights aaaagggghhhh...

anyway back from the brink.
nice to see some of your work back around and they\'re looking good.

I\'ve pained a few before and just find them relly boring to do so sticking em out is a job well done in itself.

keep em up and as FM say\'s hope you get to paint something for yourself soon.

Hey, glad you all like them!

demonherald: I did the math, that\'s sixteen rats with eight guns, eight swords, 32 arms and legs and a total of 54 ammo-bell thingies;)
They are natural knights killer that in fact have been ordered as a direct response to the other guys grails.

Funny, since you asked: Hammered copper, hg. bright bronze. weathered with succesive layers of smokey ink, 50 smokey ink 50 dark green, dark green, washed with chestnut ink and re-highlighted with bright bronze. I\'ll try that again on a single model to really get it good cause it quite fun to do.

The dragon sure will be a lot of fun. As for painting for myself... the way I see it, I do paint for myself, I enjoy it and it does me great good, I just give the results to people who actually use them for something ( Playing) and that are all hoping I can paint them something soon :D So I have a near infinity of commisions in a way, better get started!
And the commisions more than cover all hobby related expanses, which is good.
The next thing I paint for myself will probably win me the canadian slayer sword... in a few years maybe.

Well I do have this slayer king waiting on my desk, I might find a way to fit him in my schedule...

Anyway, better get to work now, :cool:

There much better than the 5.4 there at! At least a 7 from me, the leather armour and steel weathering is excellent as is the wooden gun support/barricades?

It has been remarked than usually skavens are voted 1 point lower.. cause they are skavens.. who said racism was a thing of the past ?

I think the photoshot could have been better too, but I lack a good instalation at the moment.

I consider them 6.5ish myself and a good progress from my previous project, though it looked better on picture...
