Re-posts?

Hey people...

As always, here\'s another rant of mine.

What\'s up with people re-posting their pics? I could understand if you actually did some work on the figure since posting the last pic, but I\'ve noticed a trend of people re-posting the same friggin\' pics over and over (well, not and over, but you get the idea). Is it simply to try and get a better average rating for your pic, or what?

Some have my reposts have been due to a better picture being taken; in one case I had three seperate related entries retaken as one group. (And I deleted the prior three.)

I haven\'t always been able to take great pictures, so I\'m replaced some of my older crappy pics with better ones has I learn how to use my camera.

This is the example of what should happen when people re-post

I\'m mainly talking about people who post a pic, then, like a week later post the exact same pic without changing anything to the mini, or taking a better photo.

I haven\'t seen that happen much yet, but I can see how it would be a bit confusing. The only re-post I have on my account is one image where the comments left often said it was too small to see easily. So a bigger pic was posted, and I left the old one up because it had all those comments on it.

I reposted only one pic and that because the first post vanished into the unknown. There is a new pic by someone else with my old ID.

I guess it\'s because the first pic was located on a different server which had been down for some time and therefore the pic was dropped from CMON. So I had to repost it (and I took some new pics of it).

A Reason

Well I like to re-post some times, because my first picture may be crappy, and I might get a better picture of it, so I re-post!

I do think reposting when you haven\'t changed the picture at all is worthless.
