I thought she did learn to phase only part of her body.

If someone could really do magic no one would believe them anyway.
Well they could win $1 million if they let James Randi observe them doing it under controlled conditions.

After I bought a DVD on how to do magic, and learned a few tricks, I decided that that was where my education would end. It was interesting to see what the \'trick\' to the trick was, buuuttt, now the awsomeness is gone from those tricks. I wanted to keep the \'magic\' in magic.

Hehe, yeah. There\'s one cheque Randi is confident he\'ll never have to write!

magic

Hi Brokenblade,

You\'re right. It\'s just a trick that probably has a pretty simple explanation. I\'m glad that you enjoy the link.

Hey Shawn R. L.,

You\'re absolutely correct. Once you know how magic is done it loses its power and mystery. Sure it\'s just a trick but from my perspective I\'ve just seen magic.

I guess that\'s the magic of magic. To believe it and not try to question it and get all logical with it.

Cheers.

I can! The glass broke, I wasn\'t hurt, so that fulfills your specifications :D

I like magic tricks... but I\'m not sure if I want them to be explained to be explained me. It\'s interesting to see a trick well done and I can do some myself (levitation, cards tricks, stuff like that), but I think I would lose all interest if I knew how ALL the tricks were done.
On the other hand, I have seen this video where some guy explains how people in vegas cheat at cards. It\'s incredible - he explains it, he repeats the hand motion in slow motion and I STILL can\'t completely make it out. Also, I can\'t replicate it, and I tried :D

so this magician steps through a plate glass window in controlled environment with plenty of skeptical audience members. he doesn\'t hide behind some paper or anything.

he wins $millions of dollars.

then mysteryously dissapears, seen leaving the crime scene was a black van and a bunch of MIB.

if i could do real magic i\'d hide it as fake magic or i wouldn\'t show anyone.

Its funny..same day you posted this video clip.. the TV show Vegas has him on as a guest that night..doing magic in the hotel.. guy does cool stuff.

What ever happened to David Blane.. he did his glas box thing in London two years ago and then seems to have \"dissapeared\" I was in London at the time.. guy looked all wacked out in that box. I was there when some group was protesting and throwing sausages at his box??

Nope just sausages.. I was in country though when the guy tried to climb the scaffold and cut his water supply line.

It was a nice sunny day when I was there, he was playing chess with a group of guys on the ground using hand signals.. he kicked everyones buy every game..

I stand corrected :) You\'re a very lucky lad. Not even a scratch?

What were you doing walking or climbing through glass anyway?

@ Dragon Forge Design,
It sounds like a bit of a coincidence that Chris A. was on the Vegas show the same night I posted this link/thread. Or is it??? :wow:

A true Magician never reveals his/her tricks.

Weeeeell.... it was on a school trip. We went skiing and we were put int wo different houses. I was in a house down a small mountain, and when it was dark you could see nothing at all there. That house had a glass door and when I got back there at night, a friend of mine just came out. He opened the door, we saw each other and he stepped a little to the side to let me pass first. I THOUGHT he still held the door open.
I was wrong. Crash. Walked right through it without even slowing down.
As I said, nothing happened to me at all.

When I was a kid I helped a magician do his trick and saw him stuff things in his pocket. I kinda spoiled me for magicians ever since.
